(Jan. 14, 2010) – By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety, Eating Disorder Center of Denver (EDC-D), one of the nation's foremost centers for the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of eating disorders, has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™.
The Joint Commission accreditation was awarded to EDC-D December 29, 2009. Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety standards and quality of the nation’s health care through voluntary accreditation.

EDC-D was previously accredited under Centennial Peaks Hospital. The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval is the center’s independent, full accreditation.
