Milieu Therapist and On-Call Milieu Therapist

Milieu Therapists conduct groups, facilitate meal therapy, and support a recovery-focused environment for our Patients in all levels of program. The successful Milieu Therapist is able to effectively manage a group environment and create a therapeutic milieu. Milieu Therapists must comfortably facilitate group therapy while maintaining healthy professional boundaries. Excellent communication skills, written and oral, are necessary. Attention to detail, decision-making skills, diplomacy and objectivity are essential qualities. On-Call positions often include weekend shifts. A Master's degree in a mental health field is required. Minimum Experience:

  •  Master's degree in behavioral health field.
  •  Experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered clients.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are seeking an exceptional healthcare leader as our next Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  EDCare is the longest operating eating disorder treatment center in the region, with over 15 years of experience treating a full array of eating disorders.  The CEO reports to a three-person Board of Managers and is responsible for achieving its clinical, financial and growth objectives.  Significant senior management experience in health care is required; with a preference for experience in behavioral health care; as well as prior experience in business development, feasibility analysis, planning and execution.  An advanced degree (MHA or MBA) or equivalent experience is required.

While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of Eating Disorder Center of Denver. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
