Program Director - Partial Hospitalization Program - Kansas City
The Eating Disorder Center of Kansas City is hiring a full-time position for a Master’s level, PhD, or PsyD clinician in counseling psychology. The Program Director position provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team that provides intensive and comprehensive treatment in a partial hospitalization setting for patients with eating disorders. Qualified candidates will have extensive clinical experience, supervisory experience, and managerial skills. The Program Director will work closely with the parent organization, Eating Disorder Center of Denver, which utilizes an empowerment model to treat eating disorders as bio-psycho-social-spiritual illnesses. Job responsibilities include participating in the start up of a Partial Hospitalization Program by overseeing the curriculum development and implementation, the day to day operations, the hiring of qualified and talented clinicians, and monitoring /supervising the admissions and clinical services. Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, Eating Disorder Center of Denver does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of Eating Disorder Center of Denver. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
