Current Openings
Registered Dietitian—Part Time Position
The Eating Disorder Center of Denver is looking for a part time dietitian to complete our Nutritional Services team. This position is part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team which provides intensive and comprehensive treatment in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient setting for patients with eating disorders. Qualified candidates will have post-bachelor’s clinical experience. Treatment experience with eating disorder specific clients is a plus. For the success in this position, it is necessary to demonstrate strong clinical interviewing/counseling skills and possess the ability to develop therapeutic rapport. Job responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, developing meal plans, facilitating groups, and assisting with quality control of dietary services. Participation in weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings, as needed, will be required. This is a part-time position with excellent salary commensurate with experience and education. Regional Development Position
We are looking for the perfect candidate to fill our outreach team in the role of full-time professional Outreach representative. This person will serve as the first point of contact for new referral prospects within the Western United States and be responsible for territory development, relationship-building, meeting new referring prospects, generating new business leads and coordinating lectures and seminars in the territory. The perfect candidate will assist in developing targeted relationship-building plans which will meet EDCD’s business goals for expanding customer base in the territory. Qualified candidates will work with the Business Development department for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term relationship building in accordance with the company vision and values. The understanding of Eating Disorders is a plus as well as clinical experience in a therapy setting. Qualified candidates must have sales, development, territory expansion, or behavioral health development experience. This position is not specifically based in Colorado, candidates may live in any Western state. Internships
Eating Disorder Center of Denver has filled our clinical internship positions for the entire year of 2012. Although we greatly appreciate interest in our center, we were simply overwhelmed by the number of applicants. Volunteers
Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, Eating Disorder Center of Denver does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of Eating Disorder Center of Denver. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
