Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Kansas City

The Eating Disorder Center of Denver, LLC, is expanding its services. We are opening a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Kansas City. The Eating Disorder Center of Kansas City is hiring a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Daily duties include: performing psychiatric assessments, providing on-going psychiatric management of patients, providing patient education regarding side effects and efficacy of psychotropic medications, and interfacing with clinical personnel as part of comprehensive treatment team approach. Knowledge of treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders is essential to providing excellent treatment that is based on bio-psycho-social theories and evidence-based standards of care. Executive Chef  - Kansas City

The Eating Disorder Center of Kansas City is hiring a full-time Chef. Primary responsibilities include overseeing all kitchen functions including modified food production, managing food inventory, and maintaining kitchen sanitation and regulatory standards for food service for PHP. This position requires assisting the Registered Dietitian by providing nutritional care and support to patients as directed. Two years experience in food production, including inventory control is desired. An ideal candidate will have culinary training or advance cooking experience. A thorough understanding of sanitation and food production regulations. Prefer ServSafe Certification or the ability to acquire. Eating Disorder Center of Denver offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits package for all full-time and some part-time employees. Eating Disorder Center of Denver has filled our clinical internship positions for the entire year of 2014. Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, Eating Disorder Center of Denver does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of Eating Disorder Center of Denver. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
