Colorado Springs Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (EIOP)

In 2013, the Eating Disorder Center of Denver expanded to Southern Colorado by opening the Eating Disorder Center of Colorado Springs. At our Colorado Springs site, we offer 2 levels of care: Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (EIOP) and Outpatient Services.

The Colorado Springs EIOP program is for men and women 18 years and older, who are diagnosed with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating or other eating disorders and require more than weekly outpatient therapy to treat their disorder. This is a 'transitional' level of care, with program four nights a week for 12 weeks. The program allows individuals the opportunity to participate in both recovery and daily life.  While in the program, patients are encouraged to continue real-life responsibilities, including school and work, while also applying skills from treatment to everyday life challenges, such as grocery shopping, clothes shopping and meal preparation.

The program empowers patients to interrupt destructive patterns of behaviors, tackle fears, take on new challenges and integrate lasting, positive changes into their everyday lives. Our Colorado Springs EIOP offers a total mind-body recovery.
