Jennifer Gutowski, MA, LMFT
Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 17 years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings, including residential, inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. Prior to joining the Eating Disorder Center of Denver, Jennifer worked in an outpatient private practice in Wisconsin, focusing on adolescents, adults, and families. While experienced with a multitude of clinical issues, Jennifer is passionate about working with eating disorders, and is thrilled to be a part of EDC providing family therapy for the EIOP patients in the Colorado Springs office, as well as outpatient eating disorder services. Jennifer’s strengths include her genuine approach to therapy and her positive regard. Jennifer feels strongly about imparting a message of hope that recovery is possible. As a systems trained therapist, Jennifer enjoys helping individuals and families understand and the family dynamics that help shape who we are as individuals, empowering clients to find their voice and allowing them to pursue a healthy, values driven, purposeful life. Jennifer received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California.
