Bethany believes that the journey to recovery is not one to be traveled alone. As an Admissions Clinician, she partners with clients as they pursue physical, psychological, social, and spiritual health. Bethany maintains a safe space for clients to explore and understand their individual experience in the world as they learn new ways to engage and live life to the fullest. As the facilitator of the Binge Eating Disorder (BED) group, Bethany utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients restructure thought and behavior patterns, engage in self-exploration, acquire coping and self-care skills, and enhance positive self-image. Bethany has with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience working with clients suffering from eating disorders of all types as well as various other psychological disorders such as mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, relational and familial concerns, and substance disorders. Bethany has also had the opportunity to work with individuals from a wide span of cultural, socioeconomic, and spiritual backgrounds and is committed to honoring the unique, personal experiences each individual brings to the therapeutic process.
