Keighley Bailey, MA
Senior Milieu Therapist
Keighley Bailey graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BA in Psychology and a BA in Spanish. She then attended University of Denver and received her Masters in Social Work. While working towards her Masters, Keighley worked with individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals engaged in sex work, as well as individuals experiencing human trafficking throughout the state of Colorado. She has co-authored a human trafficking bill in CO, presented to legislative councils on the importance of harm reduction in teens and young adults, and conducted trainings for local organizations and nonprofits around empowerment practices. She began working with Eating Disorder Center of Denver in June of 2014 and works as a milieu therapist. She believes in highlighting each individual’s experiences separate from the eating disorder and promoting empowerment-based practices as a way of reconnecting with their authentic self, allowing each individual to move forward and create a new path in life. Outside of work, Keighley enjoys traveling, spending time in the mountains and outdoors, and spending time with her two dogs.
