Zach Verwey, MA works as a therapist at the Eating Disorder Center of Denver, and currently facilitates EDCD’s sexuality treatment group. Zach holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP accredited program where he specifically focused his professional training on eating disorders and human sexuality, eventually combining the interests during EDCD’s Defining Me campaign to concentrate on how the two interact. Zach believes deeply in the healing power of hope, and derives his counseling philosophy from a quote in Once Upon a Time that states “{Hope is} is the most important thing anyone can have…believing in even the possibility of a happy ending can be a very powerful thing.”
