"The main strengths of EDCD are its scope and attention to detail. The range of issues covered and the continuity of topics are outstanding. The staff, therapists and the milieu staff, keeps lines of communication open, and it is clear everyone is on the same page."

| Mary Williams, MA |
Mary Williams earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver. She has experience working with adults and adolescents affected by eating disorders and addictions and is working towards her LAC (Licensed Addictions Counselor). Mary integrates the elements of body-centered psychotherapy with DBT and ACT techniques, like mindfulness and emotional regulation, into her work. Due to her extensive training, Mary is able to tailor each treatment plan to meet the needs of her clients and to provide structure in therapeutic groups. Her favorite and most guiding quote is one shared with her by the Buddhist nun Pema Chodron: “Only to the extent that we expose ourselves over and over to annihilation can that which is indestructible be found in us.”
