Therapist Michele Cooper has a passion for working with people who are struggling with various types of eating disorders and body image issues. Using an emphasis on mindfulness and experiential therapy, she encourages and challenges people who are on the path to recovery to develop acceptance and compassion for themselves. Prior to joining EDCD, Michele worked at a community mental health center in Denver, Colo. where she helped people with various types of mental illnesses. She also has experience working with victims of domestic violence. Michele holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Colorado and a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver.
