| Therese Ida, MS, RD |
Therese Ida is a registered dietitian at EDCD. She is especially interested in such research topics as the biological aspects of eating disorders, physical cues of hunger and satiety, and the restoration of normal eating styles without fear of food. Therese has 30 years of clinical nutrition experience in a variety of fields, including outpatient counseling, education, and high level acute clinical care. Her most recent experience includes 12 years in nutrition and metabolism research at the University of Colorado, a designated research center for the National Institute of Health (NIH). Therese graduated with degrees in Community Nutrition and Dietetics from Iowa State University. She also received a Master’s degree in Preventative Medicine from the University of Iowa. |
